We are sad to announce that Mrs. Donka Sokolova suddenly left us this morning.
Today, 02.08.2019, we parted with a colleague whom we deeply respect as a person with high public authority, with extensive experience and erudition, an exceptional professional who contributed greatly to the development of tourism and business in Bulgaria.
Mrs. Donka Sokolova founded the Bulgarian Association of Travel Agencies - BATA in 1992 and more than twenty years, devoted her time and efforts to the development of the organization, to the improving of the legislation in tourism and to the creating of a favorable economic environment in the country.
She was committed to the cause of making Bulgaria a quality benchmark for tourism worldwide!
The management, the staff and the members of BATA extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Donka Sokolova.
